Prime Video presents the official trailer of ‘The Peripheral’, the television series adaptation of the 2014 novel written by William Gibson that writer Scott B. Smith (‘A Simple Plan’, ‘The Ruins’) has commissioned to develop for Amazon. Smith is its creator and screenwriter, in addition to serving as co-showrunner with Greg Plageman (‘Person of Interest’, ‘FBI’). Chlo Grace Moretz, Jack Reynor and Gary Carr lead the cast of this techno-thriller whose first episode was directed by Canadian Vincenzo Natali (‘Cube’).
‘The Peripheral’ centers on Flynne Fisher, a woman trying to keep the pieces of her broken family together in a forgotten corner of tomorrow’s America. Flynne is smart, ambitious and doomed. She has no future. Until the future comes looking for her. ‘The Peripheral’ is master William Gibson’s dazzling and hallucinatory look at the destiny of humanity, and what lies beyond.
