Apple TV + presents the trailer of the 2 season of ‘The Mosquito Coast’, series based on the best seller by Paul Theroux whose cast is headed by Justin Theroux (nephew of the novelist), Melissa George, Logan Polish and Gabriel Bateman. At least in its remarkable first season, the series is actually a prequel to the original that follows the perilous journey of Allie Fox, a brilliant inventor and headstrong idealist who drags her family into a dangerous race to escape the United States government. United, the cartels and the assassins. In season two, after narrowly escaping Mexico alive, the Fox family heads deep into the Guatemalan jungle to meet up with an old friend and her refugee community. However, this new refuge will become a problem for the Foxes when they are involved in a conflict between the henchmen of a local drug trafficker. At odds over whether to settle there or keep running, Allie and Margot go their separate ways to secure their family’s future. The result of this decision will unite the family or destroy it forever. The series is executive produced by Mark V. Olsen and Will Scheffer, Stefan Schwartz, Evan Katz, Rupert Wyatt, Paul Theroux, Justin Theroux and Neil Cross (‘Luther’), also creator of this Fremantle production for Apple TV+ that developed with Tom Bissell (‘The Disaster Artist’). The first episode of the second season of ‘The Mosquito Coast’ on Apple TV + next November 4, with a new episode available every week.
