The revalidation of Alberto Vázquez, seven years after ‘psychonauts’it’s a ‘Happy Tree Friends’ which takes place in times of ‘The metal jacket’. Or something that may resemble it. It’s a shame that it costs so much to carry out projects like this, that they sell themselves, and that this, it is my impression, can be seen so much about the final result.
‘Unicorn Wars’ It is a film at the exquisite animation level, and with which as an adult who has never stopped being a child it is easy to want to fall in love. Bears against unicorns without age restrictions. On paper, a very tempting offer. And in our head a kind of ‘Starship Troopers’ dipped in gummiberry juice. Yes but no. Not quite. Despite her kindness, ‘Unicorn Wars’ It looks like it’s been “stuck”. A rough sum of scenes, moments and/or concepts not always opportune before a movie with a script carved in stone. The destination and the purpose are clear, but the roadmap and the way of linking one with the other seems random. Thus, she appears somewhat disjointed and irregular, who knows if as a result of her production process, and although adorably cruel she is unable to hit us with the vehemence that she appears. Despite its good and/or great moments, nonetheless reduced by the not so organic or fluid way in which everything has been mixed, not shaken.
