Globalcaja brings together nearly 300 businessmen in Albacete at the VI Exporta Tu Valor Forum

Saying is not the same as doing. And Globalcaja has demonstrated it once again by holding a new edition of the Forum Export Your Valuein Albacete, which has been attended by nearly 300 entrepreneurs of Castile-La Mancha.
Organized together with the newspaper La Tribuna, the forum reaffirms itself as a point of exchange of business experiences around internationalization with the aim of sharing knowledge, learning and being able to transfer it to the reality of organizations, as stated by the president of Globalcaja, Carlos de la Sierra. Similarly, De la Sierra, who explained that the forum is one more example of the closeness and commitment that characterizes the entity, has been satisfied for “putting initiatives as interesting as this one within your reach, which result in greater economic growth”. Aware that we live in a time of great uncertainty, the top leader of Globalcaja has valued the growth, despite everything, of exports from Castilla-La Mancha. “Therefore, internationalization is not a challenge, it is a tool to diversify markets, diversify risks, continue growing and place our products in the main windows worldwide”, he pointed out. De la Sierra ended his intervention by pointing out some of the factors that the entity considers key in the current environment and that are reflected in the Forum, such as the success of the collaborative vision, business leadershipunderstand the internationalization as the engine of growth and competitiveness business and “of advice and financing don’t worry, we’re here”.
Much more than a bank
For his part, the general director of Globalcaja, Pedro Palacios, who has been in charge of closing this new edition of the Forum, has valued the success of the Exporta Tu Valor program by ensuring that “half of the companies that export in Castilla -La Mancha are clients of Globalcaja”, with a 17% market share of total COEX trading volume in the territories of origin. Palacios has also explained that the entity is clear that “We are much more than a bank”. Thus, they have provided the Exporta Tu Valor program with a series of parallel initiatives with which to provide added value, boost all this activity and make it go far beyond what is expected of a commercial program. Among these actions, he pointed out the internationalization classroom that they maintain together with the Ciudad Real Chamber of Commerce, their participation in the In-FEDA breakfasts, the different webinars that they carry out on internationalization, fairs such as the World Bulk Wine Exhibition and the World Olive Oil Exhibition, and the Start Up English camps of the HXXII Foundation, which are also an internationalization program. “Internationalization is essential. Quantitatively, in 1995 we exported 1,000 million euros; in 2011, 4,000 million and 9,000 million at the last close, and qualitatively for various reasons. It allows us to see what the competition is doing and learn best practices; It brings us closer to the consumer and to see what type of products they demand and help us to innovate, what is valid today, will not be valid in a few years”, explained the CEO of Globalcaja, who thanked the speakers for their participation and, above all, “that you have shown us your roadmap”. He thus referred to the “magnificent” interventions of Miguel Angel Garcia BaqueroCEO of Grupo Lácteo García Baquero; Ricardo SantamariaDirector of Country Risk and Debt Management at Cesce; Maria Jose Parra, CEO of Parcitank; Y Anthony Martinez, president of the PDO Manchego Cheese Regulatory Council, who shared their experiences in terms of internationalization with all the attendees. To finish, Pedro Palacios highlighted the commitment of the entity with businessmen. “You are the ones who generate employment and wealth and we have a lot to thank you for, if anyone helps us overcome moments of uncertainty, it is you. Thank you for being there, for being here today and for wanting to make your companies grow, knowing that internationalization is not easy. We are convinced that together we will go not only faster, but also further”.
