XRAI Glass has developed special software that will make it easier for deaf people to talk. Thanks to them, they will see what people who do not know sign language say to them. The life of deaf people is extremely difficult, because many of them cannot read lips. This means that they can only communicate with people who use sign language, and yet not everyone knows it. Fortunately, modern technology comes to the rescue and can make life easier for such people. XRAI Glass has developed special software that can help such people a lot. The technology, combined with an Android device and Nreal AR glasses, allows deaf people to “see” words spoken to them by others. And literally, because this technological novelty will translate speech into text, displaying subtitles in the field of vision of a deaf person. The software, using a microphone on the smartphone, records the conversations around the user. Then he transcribes them into text that appears before the eyes of the eyeglass wearer. The company has not specified how well its software works in noisy environments such as a music party or places with a lot of people. Instead, she presented a promotional video showing how it can be used in various environments. Of course, we must remember that the software is currently in an early stage of development and the company will continue to improve it, increasing the possibilities. For now, it is not known when the product will appear on the market, but the manufacturer has already announced preliminary registrations for people interested in buying it. So it cannot be ruled out that it will be available in the coming year.
