‘Ummo’ – The truth is out there

Umm it exists. Or at least existed. At some point. Somewhere. In other time. That’s what they say. This non-fiction series reviews over three episodes what is considered the biggest UFO case in our country, what Ummo was and its media coverage in the national and international media from the 1960s to today. A story in which flying saucers are mixed with Nazis, sects, hypnotists or experiments in social control that took Ummo beyond the borders of ufology. And who knows if reasonable.

‘ummo’ focuses on a most interesting phenomenon over the years, even fascinating for anyone even slightly freaky, revealing, by the way, once again, how much for some time now in Spain we like to underestimate what is here and devalue our history. A very fluid, entertaining story with a clear tendency towards the humorous, built from abundant archival material and numerous testimonies of all kinds. A production in tune with the elegance and the current Movistar Plus+ non-fiction style manual to watch, if possible, in good company, at least at the level of its soundtrack, to fuel the debate around the movement. alien. Around what we suppose that there may be truth and what we deduce that it is nothing more than a lie. Around the belief or faith in its existence, or around the belief or faith in its non-existence. Umm it exists. Or at least existed. At some point. Somewhere. In other time. That’s what they say. Postscript: I have seen the series and I have written this text at once under the evil influence of a t-shirt of the nice Paul that is more than ten years old. Who would say? The nerds will finally inherit the Earth.
