Showtime presents the first trailer and the first poster of the highly anticipated second season of ‘your honor‘, the acclaimed series starring Bryan Cranston. The first episode (of a total of ten) of this second season will premiere in the United States next Friday, January 13, 2023, a day later in Spain again by Movistar Plus+. A new episode available every week. Cranston stars as Michael Desiato, a respected New Orleans judge whose honorable life is derailed when his teenage daughter accidentally kills crime boss Jimmy Baxter’s (Michael Stuhlbarg) son and goes on the run. This triggers a game of lies, deceit and impossible choices. Hope Davis plays Jimmy’s wife, Gina, who is sometimes more dangerous and impulsive than her own husband, while Isiah Whitlock Jr. plays Charlie, a local politician and Michael’s best friend. Margo Martindale plays Senator Elizabeth Guthrie, the mother of Desiato’s late wife and one of the last ties to her former life. Amy Landecker plays Detective Nancy Costello, who has been compromised by her friendship with Desiato and won’t give up on her until she uncovers the whole truth. For her part, Rosie Perez plays Olivia Delmont, a charismatic assistant US attorney who must manipulate and motivate an unwitting asset to take down a criminal organization in New Orleans. In the new episodes, Big Mo (Andrene Ward-Hammond), the formidable leader of Desire’s gang, demands fierce loyalty as she fights to expand her empire throughout New Orleans with the help of Little Mo (Keith Machekanyanga). . Fia Baxter (Lilli Kay) is forced to come to terms with the true nature of her family as she deals with the aftermath of the shooting of her boyfriend (by a bullet intended for her brother). As the only surviving son of Jimmy Baxter, Carlo (Jimi Stanton) is now more determined than ever to follow in his father’s criminal footsteps, while Eugene Jones’ (Benjamin Flores Jr.) attempt to avenge his brother’s death unleashes a series of events that threaten to open a war in the streets of New Orleans.
‘Your Honor’ is executive produced by Robert King, Michelle King and Liz Glotzer (‘The Good Fight’, ‘Evil’) along with Brian Cranston, James Degus, Rob Golenberg, Alon Aranya, Ninio, Mashiach, Ram Landes, Ron Eilon, Danna Stern and Joey Hartstone, who also serves as showrunner for this second season, replacing Peter Moffat (‘The Night Of’), creator of the series and main creative manager of its first season. Produced by CBS Studios in association with King Size Productions and distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution, the series is based on the Israeli series ‘Kvodo’created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach.
