What if someone you love turned into something sinister? Universal Pictures presents the first trailer for 'Werewolf', a terrifying new wolf nightmare directed by Leigh Whannell, responsible for 'The Invisible Man' in 2020. Christopher Abbott leads the cast, playing Blake, a married man and family man living in San Francisco who inherits the remote house where he grew up in rural Oregon after the disappearance of his own father, presumed dead. In the midst of a marital crisis with his energetic wife Charlotte (Julia Garner), Blake convinces her to take a break from the big city and visit the property with their daughter Ginger (Matilda Firth). Everything goes wrong when, on the way to the farm and in the middle of the night, the family suffers the brutal attack of an animal that they cannot see and, in a desperate attempt to escape, they barricade themselves inside the house while the creature prowls the area. But as the hours pass, Blake begins to behave strangely and become unrecognizable, and Charlotte will be forced to decide if this monstrosity is more lethal than the danger lurking outsideā¦ Sam Jaeger, Ben Prendergast and Benedict Hardie complete the main cast of this production of Blumhouse Productions and Motel Movies, which has the man who was initially set to star, Ryan Gosling, among its executive producers. In addition to directing and being one of its executive producers, Whannell also signs the script with Corbett Tuck, Lauren Schuker Blum and Rebecca Angelo.Werewolf' will be released in theaters in both the United States and Spain on January 17, 2025.
