Published on September 10, 2024 MADRID, Sep 9 (EUROPA PRESS) – The Spanish Federation of Food and Beverage Industries (FIAB), with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA), will promote this September the presence of Spanish products at the Specialty & Fine Food fair in London and at the ISM Middle East fair in Dubai. Thus, a total of 44 Spanish companies will be present at these fairs in which the Spanish food and beverage industry seeks to boost its export position in these markets and establish new business relationships with local importers. “Being present at major international events is important so that companies in the sector can establish and strengthen their business ties with other countries,” said FIAB’s general manager, Mauricio García de Quevedo. On the one hand, on Tuesday, September 10, and Wednesday, September 11, London will host the Specialty & Fine Food, which will feature the presence of 31 Spanish companies in the Spanish pavilion that FIAB organizes with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. The activity also has the collaboration of the Provincial Council of Almería, Provincial Council of Soria, Extremadura Avante and IPEX. On the other hand, 13 companies from the sector will be in Dubai, from September 24 to 26, at the ISM Middle East sweets sector fair where FIAB, with the support of the Department headed by Luis Planas, convenes for the fourth time the grouped Spanish pavilion, which also has the collaboration of the Institute for Foreign Promotion of Castilla-La Mancha (IPEX). “The Spanish food and beverage industry seeks to increase its penetration in markets with great purchasing power that are interested in an offer as varied, safe and of quality as ours”, explained the general director of FIAB.
