Did you want? Trailer for 'Querer', a legal series by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa

Movistar Plus+ presents the official trailer for 'Want'the long-awaited miniseries directed by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa, whose first episode will premiere on the platform on October 17, with a new episode available every Thursday until a total of four are completed.

'Want' tells how after 30 years of marriage and two children in common, Miren leaves the marital home and reports her husband for continued rape. This serious accusation forces the children to choose between believing their mother or supporting a father who defends his innocence. A family journey that progresses in parallel to the judicial one with the same objective: to discover the truth. Nagore Aranburu, Pedro Casablanc, Miguel Bernardeau, Iván Pellicer and Loreto Mauleón lead the cast of 'Want'an original Movistar Plus+ series produced in collaboration with Kowalski Films and Feelgood Media. The international distribution of the series will be handled by Movistar Plus+ International. In the words of the filmmaker herself, “the viewer will find the story of how a rape complaint blows up a seemingly conventional family. Miren accuses her husband of continued rape after 30 years of marriage and this serious accusation forces her children to choose between their mother or their father. We wanted to take the questions about sexual consent to the limit, to challenge the viewer as if they were another member of that family. Questions are raised that are difficult to answer and an intense emotional journey, since the judicial journey goes hand in hand with the family.” The director of 'Cinco lobitos' directs its four episodes, in addition to writing its scripts together with Eduard Sola and Júlia de Paz. 'Want' The series has a technical team that includes Sergi Gallardo ('La boda de Rosa') as director of photography, Zaloa Ziluaga ('Ventajas de viajar en tren') in charge of art direction, Marta Murillo ('Els encantats') as costume designer and Itziar García Zubiri ('Cholitas') as production director. The series will premiere in a few days at the San Sebastian Film Festival, where it will participate in the Official Section (out of competition).
