Carlos Scholz, Javier Gutiérrez, Leonor Watling and Alicia Armenteros lead the cast of this comedy of six episodes of about 30 minutes each that will arrive on the platform in February 2025. Pepe Viyuela, Claudia Traisac, Carlos González, Jorge Usón, Eric Masip, César Tormo, Marta Hazas, Héctor Carballo, Bastien Ughetto, Alexandre Blazy, Marta Levenfeld, Natalie Pinot and Lalachús complete the cast of this series whose filming, through a collaboration agreement with National Heritage, has taken place in locations such as the Palace and Gardens of Quinta del Duque, the Royal Palace and Gardens of Aranjuez, the Royal Palace and Gardens of the Granja de San Ildefonso, the Palace of Santoña, the Charterhouse of Talamanca del Jarama, the Palace of Fernán Núñez, the Finca La Granjilla or the Museum of Meadow. In the words of Adolfo Valor “making a series about kings was for us like making a bullfighting documentary. We are not experts in the history of the Spanish monarchy but we saw that it was a special story that almost no one knows. Not only is the premise fun, that idea of the king more briefly, but we were interested in what was behind it: Four very interesting characters. And there we sank our teeth into the dramatic point of view.” For his part, Cristóbal Garrido assures that “in addition, we have avoided making a very stuffy and traditional period series. We are not very irreverent. What is seen in the series has happened, we have not invented anything, including the craziest.” Finally, director Diego Núñez comments that for him “it has been a great challenge because I am Argentine and I didn't know much about the royalty of the 18th century in Spain. But what is interesting about the script is that it is about families, those ties, children searching for the approval of their parents. Having this cast was a great help and with the clear vision of the creators.
