'Moana 2' – The sequel to 'Moana'

Having just left the corresponding movie theater, I find myself thinking about 'Moana 2' in the same terms as in 'Frozen 2' -as I seem to remember quickly…- when at the time it turns out that with 'Moana'I had the same feeling I had with 'Frozen, the ice kingdom', as confirmed by the newspaper library, a blessed newspaper library that helps me as well as Disney to solve the ballot easily, quickly, comfortably and simply. This is what sequels and other derivatives have. I am not a special enthusiast nor of 'Moana'nor of'Frozen, the ice kingdom', but I have good memories of both. Not as good as 'Wreck-It Ralph!'but a good memory. I'm not a particular foodie, and although they left me a little cold, it can be said that I enjoyed both. As I also enjoyed 'Ralph breaks the Internet' and 'Frozen 2'; or now of 'Moana 2'three sequels that, although looking more or less similar, are significantly inferior to their respective originals. Even though Disney rarely does not show its face, even though Disney rarely does not present an animated film that is at least decent and respectable, not only technically and audiovisually. As is the case of the three aforementioned sequels, crude replicas with the intention of serving as expansions that lack sufficient entity to stand on their own. Even to stand with (or without) pride like movies, not being 'Moana 2' an exception and stop feeling more like a sequel than a movie. An entertaining and worthy sequel that, I have little doubt, will please fans of the first to a more than reasonable extent, of course somewhat more compact, accomplished and that also had more and better “peaks of interest.” In fact, there is the main difference between the two: those occasional great moments that drove the first film, but that in 'Moana 2'no matter how much those responsible seem to try to emulate it, they fail to break its maintained and episodic narrative consonance. In any case, he has a first film ahead of him that has his back and whose inherited inertia, quite possibly, is more than enough to support his status as a worthy “Disneynian” pastime. Sometimes we want more of the same, but we don't know how to settle for more or less the same. 'Moana 2'just like 'Ralph breaks the Internet' and 'Frozen 2', they are simply sequels. Sequels, on the other hand, released in movie theaters, and not directly on VHS or Disney+… … although in the case of 'Moana 2' its origin as a television series that, on the fly and in fits and starts, has been converted into a film, becomes evident too often and recurrently. Sorry, in a sequel whose war wounds may not be as annoying as they are evident, even though they do result in a less consistent and ultimately less enjoyable product than perhaps, yes, perhaps it could not have been if it had been a film. and not a sequel; or rather, a product.
