After the success of Croods, there still was the uncertainty about the production of Croods -2. Thankfully we are getting the badly needed sequel to the fantastic movie. Dreams Work Animation has started with the work of making a sequel to this 3-D computer-animated comedy-adventure film.
When will the Croods 2 be released?
There have some little delays for the official release as it earlier set to release on 18th September 2020. Due to some issues, mainly the pandemic, the September release was not met, and it will finally hit the cinemas on 23rd December 2020, much to relieve to its fans.
Even this date looks unlikely to happen, and although we have no confirmation yet, we shouldn’t be surprised to see the movie in early 2021.
The cast for the movie
Nicolas Cage as Grug Crood, Emma Stone as Eep Crood will return as the voice cast from The Croods along with Ryan Reynolds as Guy, Catherine Keener as Ugga Crood, Cloris Leachman as Gram and Clark Duke as Thunk Crood.
Leslie Mann and Peter Dinklage are the latest members of the movie.
The storyline for the Croods 2 movie
This movie will revolve around the Crood family that somehow survives a natural disaster, and they manage to shelter themselves. They construct a new home, but after every day, the daughter Eep keeps becoming more disobedient and repeatedly questions her father. The Croods are scared of the outside world, but a person with the name of Nomad comes into their lives and tells them that the outside world is safe, and there is nothing to be afraid of.
The journey of the Croods family will be fun as it was in the first part.
Although there is no official confirmation of the synopsis on what the story is about, we can hope for more laughter, adventure, and fantastic animation on our way to the cinemas to watch The Croods 2.
