Yuji Itadori is an incredibly athletic student living in Sendai with his grandfather. However, he hates being on the athletics team so he joins the Occult Club at school. This lets him hang out and chill while also handling the responsibility of his grandfather. When his grandfather is on his death bed he leaves Yuji with two messages. “Die surrounded by people” and ” Always help people”.
Yuji interprets these messages as a mission to give everyone a “proper” death. While at school he is possessed by a Cursed Spirit. He must now serve as the human host for the evil Cursed Spirit and find all the fingers of the Cursed Spirit. By consuming these fingers he will trap all the Cursed Spirits and manage to kill them all at once with the Occult Club.
