Arifureta is a Japanese fantasy action manga series based on a Novel written by Ryo Shikakome. It was first brought on-screen in 2019, in the form of series. Since then, it has been a great hit. However, many have criticized its strong action scenes which are tagged to be inappropriate for many viewers to watch, due to a lot of bloodshed scenes. Though, at the same time, the anticipation of Arifureta season 2 is the outcome is still among fans.

The series revolves around the protagonist Hajime Nagumo and his classmates who got transported into a different world. But the actual twist comes when they realized the superpowers they got along the passage. Hajime is portrayed as an outcast child. He used to get bullied in school, even after transportation, he only got only some basic powers. Whereas his other fellows receive many beneficial powers. It seems worthless to him in the starting.
Although, over time he will become stronger by gaining more power. And in season 1 initial chapter has been covered. Now the show is all set to launch Arifureta season 2 soon.

Furthermore, the two OVA has been released. One was on December 25, 2019, under the title “Yue’s Diary”, another one was on February 26, 2020, with the title “Hot Love Springs Eternal”. There is another update of any other OVA release anytime soon. It is also assumed that season 2 is delayed due to the pandemic situation, others believed that due to excessive activity in the animation caused in cancellation of Arifureta season 2.

It has been tweeted from the official account of the anime, that the second season will start on Japanese television in January 2022. It is assumed that season 2 is delayed due to the pandemic situation. But, it is great news for all the fans that we now have an official release month.
