They arrive at Sunshot Campaign only to discover their previous self-fighting. They move further back in time and reach Cloud Recesses. Meng Yao is being bad-mouthed by the people. But Clan Leader Nie interferes and announces that Meng Hao will be his right-hand man. The trio of Meng Yao, Nie, and Zewu are together now.
The show then shows some events of Why Clan Leader Nie cut all ties with Meng Yao. Then it is shown then The Clan Leader was rescued in a mysterious way when he was captured and was on the verge of death in the Nevernight City. Four clans attack Nevernight City after few months. At the end of the saw, Nie and Meng Yao fight. Then Meng Yao told him why he was killed and showed cruelty, it was just a part of the plan. A plan to kill Wen Rouhan. Nie forgives Meng Yao when Zewu Jun convinces him. News also revealed that Meng Yao was helping them all along. The show ended with the rise of the Venetrated Triad.
