Red.eswill be the competent public body for the granting of these Grants from the Digital Kit Program, aimed at the digitization of small businesses, micro-businesses and self-employed people so that they can adopt digitization solutions available on the market. All this, within the framework of the Next Generation EU Funds. This first line of aid is aimed at companies with between 10 and less than 50 employees in order to improve their competitiveness and their level of digital maturity and have a budget of 500 million euros intended for the beneficiary companies to adopt one or more solutions of digitization available in the Digital Kit Program Digitization Solutions Catalog collected in the SME Accelerator Platform. Amount of aid
The maximum amount aid or digital bonus per beneficiary will be €12,000 and with it it will be possible to acquire digitization solutions for key areas such as: website and internet presence, management of social networks, electronic commerce; customer management; virtual office services and tools, business intelligence and analytics, process management, electronic invoicing, secure communications and cybersecurity. Who can apply for these grants?
In this first call, small businesses and people in a situation of self-employment in Segment I may be beneficiaries of this aid. That is, companies with between 10 and less than 50 employeeswhose fiscal domicile is located in Spanish territory and that prove compliance with the requirements established in articles 7 and 8 of the Regulatory Bases and the second section of the Call.
When can they be requested?
Starting today, March 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the Red.es electronic headquarters and the period will be open until September 15 or until the funds run out. Small or micro-businesses with between 3 and 10 employees (segment II) are expected to start claiming their €6,000 bonus from June/July. Lastly, small businesses or micro-businesses with between 1 and less than 3 employees will have to wait until September/October.
How to request the Digital Kit bonus?
Sign up for the Accelerate private area SME and complete the self-diagnostic test. Consult the information available on the digitization solutions of the Digital Kit Program, from which you can choose one or more of those offered by digitizing agents. Request help in the electronic office of Red.es.
Once the aid is granted: Access the Digitizing Agents Catalog and select the agent with whom you want to develop digital solutions. Get in touch with the digitizing agents and sign the “digitization solutions provision agreement”.
Digitizing Agents Catalog
Last week the catalog was published with the 3,000 digitizing agents that red.es has initially validated. However, it is expected that this number will increase in the coming weeks until reaching a total of approx. 7,000 digitizing agents, since the membership period to become a digitizing agent will be open for the entire duration of the Digital Kit Program. It should be noted that the function of digitizing agents is to collaborate and help SMEs in the aid application process. They will be the ones who present all the supporting documentation and, once the service has been provided and its justification approved, they will receive the digital voucher payment.
