First trailer for the new ‘Django’

Sky and Canal+ present the first trailer of ‘django’, new television installment of the adventures of the famous spaghetti western character created by Sergio Corbucci in 1966 who has come to appear in one way or another in a total of 31 films (including Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Django Unchained’). Matthias Schoenaerts (‘Kursk’, ‘Hidden Life’) is now the one who plays Franco Nero in this ten-episode television series produced by the Italian Cattleya and the French Atlantique Productions. Set in Texas at the end of the 19th century, the series begins with Django arriving in New Babylon, a city that stands on a crater. He searches for the man who killed his family and instead finds out that his daughter Sarah is alive and is there. She is now 20 years old and about to marry John Ellis, the founder of New Babylon. Above all, Sarah wants Django gone. But Django does not give in to this and does his best to get a second chance. However Django, John and Sarah are bound by a web of secrets and a dark past that is destined to resurface. Nicholas Pinnock, Lisa Vicari, Noomi Rapace, Benny O. Arthur and Antal Edgar Miklos complete the main cast of this series that Canal+ will distribute in France, Benelux and Africa while Sky will do the same in Italy, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Austria and Germany , without us knowing for the time being through whom it will reach Spain. Leonardo Fasoli and Maddalena Ravagli (‘ZeroZeroZero’, ‘Gomorrah: The series’) are the creators and screenwriters of this series directed by David Evans, Enrico Maria Artale and Francesca Comencini (‘Gomorrah: The series’), who also works as artistic director of the entire series.
