Space Camp Valencia

The only camp in Spain that prepares young people between 10 and 17 years old to learn more about outer space. Participants will train like real astronauts through various activities: piloting aircraft with professional pilots; working without gravity in swimming pools, moving and strengthening teamwork with a team of professional divers; launching a rocket by PLD Space; exploring the cosmos in an observatory; learning about astronomy from astrophysicists; crewing the ISS with the help of Virtual Reality; carrying out missions on Mars with a Rover… It also has a scholarship program promoted by the School of Science, PLD Space, Power Electronics, American Space Valencia, Teika, SPB, Valencia City Council and the Polytechnic University of Valencia. This summer, the ECAM Urban Film Camp, the School of Cinematography and Audiovisuals of the Community of Madrid, is back. Over the five weeks that it lasts, children aged 5 to 17 will learn to make films in an educational and fun way, led by a teaching staff made up of professionals working in the sector. This year, they are also introducing a new itinerary for participants aged 5 to 7, 'Atelier de cine', in which each member will play and explore at their own pace the limits of fantasy and creativity in a fun and safe environment. It is completed by the itineraries: 'Playing at making films' (from 8 to 10 years old), 'Young filmmakers' (from 11 to 13 years old) and 'My first film' (from 14 to 17 years old). Where?
