Some people haven’t seen them yet,” Sherman Palladino said at the time. The Showrunner added: “We didn’t go in there with any intention of wanting to do more. Plot Details
That ending comes arranged full of familiar faces — Sookie! Paris! Paul Anka! — though its focus is on the one that’s missing. The recovery kicks off with the funeral of Richard Gilmore.
It follows the remaining Gilmores as they work through their grief over the next year. “It’s a story about women at crossroads in their lives,”
Sherman-Palladino says. “It’s going to have more weight and more emotion because there’s more time and when you’ve got time, you don’t have to truncate moments.”Sherman Palladino said “The thing about Gilmore Girls is, its an amorphous thing. The reason that it happened the first time is that we all went to that Austin festival and we all sat together. There was an open bar and were all sitting there saying, “It feels good now, let’s do it now”. I think It would have to be a similar situation.” Till then stay tuned for more updates on our website.
