Dying Light 2 Release Date, What You Should Know About Storymode, Controls, Gameplay And Where Is Aiden Cadwell?

“Hunter by day, Prey by night.”

By far, one of the most immersive video game experiences I have ever had comes from the Dead Island and Dying Light Saga. With over 50 awards and nominations, the game truly lives up to its name. A Playstation 4 video game, Dying Light delves into a dystopian world where the zombie apocalypse is upon us, but the zombies are quicker than you.

Gameplay Like No Other

The gameplay is truly intense, with matters heating up as the night sets in. OR when the light dies. The game first hit the stores in 2015 and has been a fan-favourite ever since. The immersive yet speedy gameplay, fascinating lore kept players on their toes and addicted.

The sequel was all set to hit stores in March of 2020, this year. However, there have been unusual complications. A week or two ago, the official Instagram page put up a letter telling fans of the game that the release has been delayed. However, the next official date of release hasn’t been specified. Despite it all, we know a lot about the story itself.

The Story Behind the Game

Dying Light 2 is set in the same metropolis and has an almost identical situation. Except for this. You are the new protagonist. Your name is Aiden Cadwell. And you, are an infected survivor. Dying Light two has been set 15 years after the events of the first. The last human settlement lives between the undead world, in a semblance of the dark ages. A modern Dark age, if you will. In the day, the humans, factions and starving survivors scrounge for scraps across the city. In the night, the undead comes out and roam free, eager to find and taste the living.

You are an infected survivor, and you have incredible agility and fighting skills. Your combat ability is unmatched, and you are an asset to the world of the living. It is now your job, to reach places no can reach and kill the undead, and hopefully, not lose your life in the process.

The release date for Dying Light 2 is yet to be announced.
