Glow Season 4 What Will Be New Storyline, What You Should Know Latest Update

Glow is back! The snarky drama from LA in the 80s is hitting the streaming circuits in the summer of 2020. (Something to do over the summer!)

What’s The Story? (Spoilers!)

The group is fractured. Carmen and Sam have split away while Ruth and Debbie have chosen their own separate paths. This is the last season though, so no more cliffhangers just resolution of the storylines. The producers certainly had more stories to tell but this is all we’re going to get. The new story will feature Debbie’s own wrestling TV show. With Ruth (Alison Brie) choosing to join as an actor, we expect to see new personas for the wrestlers and new challenges for the Glorious Ladies Of Wrestling(GLOW, duh).

Here’s what producer Liz Flahive had to say, “We’ve played it this way every season, where we’ve sort of left it all on the field. This show has a big heart and a big cast and big story to tell, and other people are not going to set that limit for us. We can’t do that, because it wouldn’t be fair to what we’re trying to do. We’d love to have the opportunity to give the show a satisfying ending.”

What Should You Know?

Are you even a true fan if you don’t own a ‘Zoya the Destroya’ action figure? The collectables are proving hugely popular, so go get ’em! Unfortunately, the show was cancelled after 4 seasons. That means, it ends here and now, sadly. The show is set in the 80s, so it is likely that you’ll see yours truly sporting acid-washed jeans and tinted Ray-Bans while watching Glow. The ridiculous hairstyles are reminiscent of happier times where everything was aplenty. If nothing, the show is worth watching for its nostalgic value.

Well, that’s that. I’m going to go catch up on the Destroya and Black Magic.
