The humour series on Netflix has been given a green signal for its second season. After its huge success since it was launched in 2019.
Release Date And Trailer:
While the next instalment is on its way the release date isn’t yet on the table. Following the same chronology as the previous season, the filming would have started in autumn 2019. The show is about to hit the screens around late spring 2020.

Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini will both be returning as the leads, Jen and Judy respectively.
Other regulars include Max Jenkins as Christopher, Jen’s real estate business partner, Luke Roessler as Jen’s youngest son Henry, Sam McCarthy as Charlie, Jen’s teenage son, Ed Asner as Abe, a resident at the assisted living facility where Judy works, and cop Nick (Brandon Scott).
There’s also police detective Ana Perez (Diana Maria Riva), who is heading up the investigation into the death of Jen’s husband, Karen (Suzy Nakamura), Jen’s overbearing neighbour, Pastor Wayne (Keong Sim), and Haley Sims as Kayley.
One person, who won’t be returning, however, is James Marsden as Steve.
What Can Be The Future Of Series?
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter creator, Liz Feldman hinted that the end of season one “is not exactly what you think”. So we can fairly expect the season to bring in some new twists. Which will add a lot of flavour to the storyline. Feldman also revealed that season two will have Jen and Judy’s relationship taking interesting turns as they will explore their friendship and relationship further. “It may get even more complicated and dynamic between these two women,” Feldman said.
