Overlord Season 4 When Will It Air? Who Can Return?, Plot, Trailer And What Will Be New?

Nearly a year after we hear rumours of the return of Overlord, the anime might finally be about to hit the screens. While Madhouse has not really revealed anything yet, other sources suggest otherwise. The show is likely to get a release within the year.

When Will It Air?

Season 3 ended in October 2018. While a 2020 release is not entirely out of the question, it is unlikely. Technically, though, the fourth season is not yet confirmed. It’s very likely that the show will get a fourth season given its immense popularity. No word of the production doesn’t bode too well for the show though. Added to that, there’s very little manga left to animate for now. And we certainly do not want a bunch of producers writing the story(Hi there, Game of Thrones!).

The best the fans can hope for right now is some concrete news about the next season as well as the light novels.

Yukie Sugawara has said that the series is “extremely likely” to have a fourth season.

What’s The Plot?

While awaiting any 4-related news from the “Overlord” season, fans may want to catch up on the story by reading the light novel.

Season 4 of “Overlord” will document the circumstances that surround the establishment. The Sorcerer Kingdom and will depict Ainz facing challenges as a national leader as he lacks the expertise of lawmaking.

What Will Be New?

A comedy crossover anime, Isekai Quartet featured characters from Overlord in a Chibi style, much like the OVA. It also featured characters from the light novel series KonoSubaRe: Zero − Starting Life in Another World, and The Saga of Tanya the Evil, all published by Kadokawa Corporation. The anime began airing on April 9, 2019.

Meanwhile, the 12th manga is not yet released in English which is another thing fans have to look forward to.
