A 37 episode anime series based on manga series of the same name by Tsugumi Ohba, Death Note is a real treat for any anime watcher. Originally aired in Japan, on the Nippon TV network from October 3, 2006, to June 26, 2007.
The story is about a school student Light Yagami, who decides to get rid of the world of evil with the help of a supernatural notebook called Death Note. The book is the cause of death for anyone whose name is written in the book. The book is passed on to Light by Shinigami Ryuk after he is immersed within the Shinigami world.
This anime was released in America on May 10 2007. Death Note can be watched on Netflix with full enjoyment, suspense, and love.
Who is Misa, and does she die?
Misa is a famous model who supports Light in his mission of removing evil from the world. Though she promotes Light in every way with her Death note and even shortening her lifespan twice, by half, her love to Light remains one-sided as Light ultimately uses her for his gain.
Misa’s song was played for episode 25 by voice actresses Aya Hirano, and the English version of the song is performed by the character’s English voice actress, Shannon Chan-Kent. Though it is not certain, Misa commits suicide in the last episode.
Will there be a season 3?
It has been 13 years since the release of the first two seasons. There has also been no announcement for a third season so we can assume that there will be no third season. But we can enjoy the first two seasons.
