Star Trek, an American fiction web series, is coming up with its new season. The season continues the story after Jean-Luc Picard died, and his consciousness was transferred to a new synthetic body.
A second season of the series was in works for months. But it was officially announced only in January 2020, with Matalas joining the series ahead of the planned departure of first season showrunner Michael Chabon, who remained as a writer and executive producer. Filming is expected to take begin in California in June 2020, or after problems due to the COVID-19 pandemic are lifted.

After Jean-Luc passes away, he ends up in an afterlife where he meets Data for one last heartfelt moment. Picard then woke up, resurrected in a new “golem” body created by Dr. Altan Soong. Then, Agnes, with assistance from Sooji, mapped out Picard’s memories and reinstalled them into a new artificial body. The body was the same as his just with the exception of this brain abnormality.
How Many Episodes Are There In Star Trek: Picard Season 2?
Star Trek: Picard’s season 2 is all geared up to air on CBS All Access in late 2020 or the latest in early 2021. It is said to consist of a total of 10 episodes, which is the same as season 1. Michael Chabon is writing two episodes for this season while Jonathan Frakes will return as a director, which is great news for the project because his skill is an important essence of the show.
