If you are an aficionado of horror web series on Netflix, you have definitely watched or considered watching The Order. The American web series premiered on Netflix on March 7, 2019. Dennis Heaton created it and co-wrote it with Shelley Eriksen, Rachel Langer, Jennica Harper, Penny Gummerson, and Jason Filiatrault. Upon its release, the series received positive reviews.
The series revolves around a college student Jack Morton, who in a bid to avenge his mother’s death, joins the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose, a secret society that teaches and practices magic. As Jack dives deeper into the society’s history, he uncovers some dark family secrets. In the process, he lands himself in a war between practitioners of dark magic and werewolves.
What is Season 2 about?
The series was renewed for a ten-episode second season, back in March 2019. The second season released on July 18, 2020.
At the close of Season 1, Alyssa wipes Jack’s memories. So Season 2 should focus on Jack trying to get the pieces of his life back together. It is also expected that Alyssa will blame herself for what happened to Jack. But will they be able to rekindle their romance?
Netflix dropped the trailer days before the release. It featured plenty of mayhem as the Knights of St. Christopher are ceremoniously installed as members of The Hermetic Order Of Blue Rose.
