The hunt continues!!!! Yes BBC America announced in January 2020 that Killing Eve Season 4 has been renewed and with an expected 2021 Release Date. The most unique thing about this project is that each season was created by a different woman.
Season 1 was created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, followed by Lisa Bruhlmann and Francesca Gregorini, which then passed on to Suzanne Heathcote. And now for Killing Eve Season 4, she will pass the baton of a showrunner to Laura Neal.
The series is highly popular among the youth with a rating of 8.3 on IMDB and 89% on Rotten Tomatoes. The show was a huge high as it won all the major awards which a show could win or be nominated to.
The show received 8 Primetime Emmy nominations in 2020. The show first premiered on 8 April 2018 on BBC America. The 3rd season premiered on 12th May 2020 for BBC America.
The story is about a cat and mouse chase between Eve Polastri, an intelligence officer played by Sandra Oh, and a psychopathic assassin, Villanelle played by Jodie Corner.
Usually, we see a psychopathic character is portrayed by a male actor as in Joker played by Jaoquin Pheonix, Hannibal Lecter in “The Silence of the Lamb” played by Anthony Hopkins, and many others, but this series breaks stereotypes. It showcases a female assassin on a killing spree.
Fans are speculating about the release. The makers are yet to make an announcement about the date.
But guessing games are declaring that since all the previous seasons have premiered in the month of April almost exactly one year after the previous ones. So this time also the situation may be the same for Killing Eve Season 4 as well.
Till then please let us know what you think about this news. We would love to hear from you.
