Peacock’s popular sitcom, Saved by the Bell, in early 2020. With a ton of fun and the original cast, season 1 of the reboot was an enjoyable ride. With that being established, Peacock has given a green signal for another season. Yes, guys! Saved by the Bell Season 2 was officially announced by the channel on Tuesday, 19th January. The season will also have 10 episodes as the prior season and current, as well as the original cast, will there to make us have a hearty laugh.
Saved by the Bell Season 2 Release Date:
Season 1 of this reboot was postponed due to a pause in production because of the corona pandemic. Originally it was to be released at the beginning of 2020, finally came on the streaming service on thanksgiving of 2020. It consisted of 10 episodes and gain good praise from the audience. Season 2, which was recently announced is suspected to be released at the end of 2021, as it is still in the process of production.
Saved by the Bell Season 2 Cast:
The original series with the same name was loved by the audience. So, the cast of the original series was again cast as adults. With the original leads and supporting cast taking roles of the adult, Bayside High also gets a new set of audience. Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, and few other original members returned. The new class consisted of Mitchell Hoog, Haskiri Velazquez, Josie Totah, etc.
Storyline So Far:
In Season 1, Douglas High was shut down because of not having enough funding. The students of this school were shifted to privileged Bayside High. There is a conflict between the native students and the new entering students. But till the finale, they are all good. As Douglas High receives fundings and school is back-to-good. The students must return. In the finale of the season, the student put up an act to convince the Governor to rethink his idea.
Season 2 will start where we left off and we will know what will happen in the life of these students as well as the adults.
