The series is based on the human body, and it tells the story of different cells. first season of the series started in 2018 and it was a huge success among anime fans. Spoilers of Episode 4

Each episode of Cells at Work s2 contains 2 parts. The first part of episode 4 was named “H. Pylori”. In this part, an ordinary cell wants to be brave like other cells and other immunity systems and wants to save the lifelike immune systems do. In his quest to be brave he finds 4 little cute bacteria and keeps them as pets. U-1146 detects the bacteria and tries to confiscate them for future disposal. Later U-1146 thanks every normal cell for doing their work.

In the second part of the episode named “Antigenic Shift,” U-1146 tries to save some bacterias from falling down the drain and it is revealed that these small ones are lactic acid these acids have a positive effect on the human body. From the remaining two bacterias normal cells drop one into a storm drain. At the same moment, NK cells arrive. It will be interesting to see if these NK cells are able to do their job or not.
