After the release of Disney’s OTT platform Disney +, marvel announced to release of several new original tv shows. Wandavision was the first original that released on the platform. It released on 15th January 2021 and had a total of 9 episodes. The show had Wanda and Vision in the lead roles. Now that the first season has ended there is speculation that the show might get renewed for a second season. Wandavision Season 2 Release Date
The first season of the show had a total of 9 episodes and the finale was aired on the 5th March. After that fans are eagerly waiting for the second season to be released. But sorry to disappoint you but there would not be a second season of the show. Recently the showrunners submitted the show for Emmy awards as a limited series. That means there would not be wandavision season 2.
The Cast of The Show
So, talking about the cast of the show. If you are someone who likes to watch marvel movies there are only a few new characters introduced in the show. Also, you might have seen others in other marvel movies. The lead characters are Wanda and vision. Elizabeth Olsen portrayed the role of Wanda Maximoff. Meanwhile, Paul Bettany did a superb job playing Vision. Evan Peters from X Men did justice to his role Ralph Bohner aka Pietro. Other cast includes Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, Teyonah as Monica, and Randall as CBI officer. While Wandavision season 2 will not happen. We will get to see these characters in the sequel of Dr. Strange.
The plot of the season one
In the first episode of the show, we saw that Wanda moves to a village in the ’40s with his husband Vision. Pretty soon we get to know that she has created this alternate world just to hide from reality. Later we find out that she has trapped people using her mind and vision as nothing but a part of her own magic.
Later she gives birth to twins and they grow up really quickly. After we find out that there is a witch controlling the village as well. In the finale of the show, Wanda fights with the witch while Vision fights with the real vision. Later, Wanda trapped Agatha in the same village and the show comes to an end.
Now In Wandavision season 2, we might have seen vision getting back to her. But unfortunately, it will never happen.
