Taichi wonders whose voice he has been hearing. The voice calls the Chosen Ones. Taichi then inquires with the Flying Digimon if the light upon with it is standing is the master of the castle. The light appears to be at an angle. She replied that this castle has no master. She adds that a number of warriors who used to Protect the digital world were used to gather at that place sometimes back. They stood together against Darkness. Taichi soon realizes the Angel is mentioning the Ancient War. She reveals she fought the Ancient war too and vanished.
The Angel told Taichi that it is her fate to watch over other warriors. She has transferred her soul into a substitute body so that she can remain into this world. Taichi told her they are looking for a way to stop the Great Catastrophe and that led them here. He asks if she can help them. The Angel transfer Taichi to a dark forest. She adds he has to prove his worth and show his true colours. Entering the forest Taichi began to look for clues.
Taichi’s eyes stumble upon a black cat being chased by a green monster. He protects the cat from the beast. They hide inside the cave waiting for the Monster to stop his quest for the two. Later Taichi Saves Botamon and with Greymon’s power, he protects the new world. Taichi is then brought back to the castle. The angel reveals the Great Power he is seeking can be activated by the Power of the Heart.
