The story of ‘The King’s Affection’ is set in the Joseon Dynasty. The Birth of twins is taken as an unlucky sign. This becomes a problem when the princess Consort gives birth to twins, a boy, and a girl. The girl is ordered to be killed and the boy is chosen as the future king. The problem occurs when the price loses his life.
The mother in order to hide his death brings back the order that was once ordered to be killed. The princess starts living like a prince and distances herself from everyone. But soon she starts developing feelings for her teacher, Jung Ji-Woon who is also a member of a Royal family.

‘The King’s Affection’ episode 4 starts with Lee Hwi learning that she has a new teacher. She sees him and tells everyone that he is not a good man. On the other hand, Ji-woon has no other choice but to go to the palace as a tutor. He goes there and meets Lee Hwi. Lee Hwi on the other hand skips her first class and says that she does not want to learn anything from him. Ji-woon starts looking for her and finds her outside with a bow and arrow. He asks her to get to the class.

Lee Hwi refuses and shoots an arrow at him. She tells him that she will accept him as her tutor if he chose to have a test in the evening. If she passes, Ji-woon will have to leave and if she fails he can stay. Ji-woon agrees and both take the test. Ji-woon passes the test and is now officially Lee Hwi’s tutor.
We also see Lee Hwi and Lee Hyun having a conversation. Lee Hyun saves Lee Hwi from getting soaked and upon seeing that her hat is messed up, he goes to bring something to fix it. Meanwhile, Ji-woon sees Lee Hwi standing alone and goes to help her. The episode ends with Ji-woon fixing Lee Hwi’s hat for her and Lee Hwi getting lost in him. The teaser for The King’s Affection E5 is out and we have a lot of explanation to do. The teaser shows that the rumors about the prince being interested in men spreads like fire. Everyone is talking about it. And if Lee Hwi’s father gets to know about it then it will be big trouble. He may plan to get Lee Hwi’s married as soon as possible. S0, we can see our main lead struggling with some things.
