Black Monday in the equity market

In Europe, the main indices fell between two and four points, the Euro Stoxx 50 closed with a fall of 2.69% while the Ibex 35 closed with a decrease of 2.47%. The fear of an economic slowdown due to the tightening of central bank policies has caused European stock markets to chain five sessions of falls. Only Danone and Pernod Ricard closed positively, with advances of 1.08% and 0.06% respectively, however, the greatest losses were recorded by values ​​such as Adyen (-8.39%), Infineon (-6.81%) or Vonovia (-5.77%). The Spanish stock market fell due to the rebound in sectors such as telecommunications, consumer services and financial services. Therefore, Red Eléctrica and Naturgy were the only stocks in green with increases of 2.25% and 1.85%, respectively. Meliá closed the queue, which fell by 8.76%, followed by PharmaMar (-7.38%) and Cellnex (-6.31%). The biggest losses were recorded on Wall Street, due to warnings about a future recession in the United States. The Dow Jones lost 2.79%, the Nasdaq has sunk 4.68%, while the S&P 500 has officially entered a bear market, surpassing the 205 drop from its highs.
