Is Spike Spiegel dead?
He was badly injured in his fight with Vinicius after being severely shot. His ending was left open by the writer on purpose, and we are still discussing after twenty years of its airing.
We think he did die as he was in complete peace after killing every single enemy who was responsible for his lover’s death. His mission was hence complete.
