Taylor Swift Tops U.K. Chart Again, ‘Folklore’ Magic Is On For The Third Week

Taylor Swift is again at the no.1 position on the Official Albums Chart of U.K. for his album Folklore(EMI). Swift has got a margin of 6,000 chart sales. The no.1 position on the national singles survey has been held by Joel Corry and MNEK for their single “Head & Heart” (Asylum/Perfect Havoc) throughout the whole month.

After Taylor Swift’s Folklore, Dreamland(Polydor) by Glass Animals is the no. 2. This is a career high for the Oxford four piece. Whoosh by Deep Purple is at the fourth position. Their inclusion to the Official U.K. Albums Chart is a rare one. It is the 21st studio album by Deep Purple, the Hall of Famers.

They have made it to the Top 10 for the 11th time. Their previous inclusion to the top 10 chart was in 2017 for ‘Infinite’ and then they made it to no.6. ‘Deepest Purple’ by the English rockers was the chart topper in 1980 and after that Whoosh is their big success.
