The Undoing is an American thriller series based on the novel You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz. It is a psychological thriller series with six episodes and talks about basic themes such as marital affairs, possessiveness, jealously, which leads to a mysterious murder. The Undoing Season 2 Released Date
According to News and other updates, there won’t be The undoing season 2 because it was based on a novel, and there is no sequel. But, who knows, the creators might come up with a different plot to keep going the show. Season 1 was aired in 2020, so there must be a delay in the production of next season. But, we never know; all we can do is hope for the best.
The Storyline
The story of this series is very devasting for the married couples because marriage is a big responsibility, and it comes with trust, respect, and the vows we do to our loved ones but when the happiest life is interrupted by an unusual murder is something that brokes all the strings attached. The main character is Grace, who is a therapist and wasn’t aware of her husband Jonathan’s affair with Elena.
Knowing the reality was very painful for her as the series ended with Jonathan revealing that he murdered Elena and the reason behind this is that she wasn’t mentally stable, and to get rid of her, he had to kill her. That’s the end of a beautiful married life where the strongest weapon was a betrayal.
