The deadly jaws of the alligators are coming to you again on February 25, 2021, with the fifth episode of the 12th season. What Can We Expect?
The bayou is consumed by an intense record-breaking heatwave, though the tough conditions definitely prove to be a hindrance in the alligator season. This is seen as an opportunity by Ronnie and Ashley who try to take advantage of these intense conditions. Willie and his father employ a divide and conquer policy by separating their boats to finish at a much faster rate. The heat wave’ effect can also be clearly noticed on the baits, to avoid such deterioration Don invented a slow-drip device to keep Jacob’s bait from dying out.
The Hunter’ Target
These Hunters are issued a certain number of tags each, these tags are supposed to be attached to their kills. This helps the hunters to identify and mark their kills more accurately. The target for the hunters during this alligator season is to “tag out” which essentially means that the hunters have to extinguish their tags reserve in the span of these thirty days. This would mean that the hunter has killed a number of alligators equal to the number of tags received.
