FX Networks presents the official trailer of ‘The Patient’, a miniseries creatively supported by Joe Weisberg and Joel Fields, creator and executive producer as well as co-showrunners of the acclaimed ‘The Americans’. Steve Carell and Domhnall Gleeson lead the cast of this FX Productions production in which the former is a psychotherapist who suddenly finds himself a prisoner of the latter, a serial killer with an unusual request: Help him curb his homicidal impulses. . Weisberg and Fields have written this psychological thriller while Chris Long (‘Suspects’) has directed the first two episodes of a total of ten, each lasting about 30 minutes. In turn, the three are executive producers along with Caroline Moore, Victor Hsu and Carell himself. Kevin Bray and Gwyneth Horder-Payton direct the remaining episodes of this series whose main cast is completed by Linda Emond, Laura Niemi, Andrew Leeds, Alex Rich and David Alan Grier. The first three episodes of ‘The Patient’ will premiere on Hulu on August 30. From there, a new episode available every week. In Spain we will see it through Star / Disney +, so it is most likely that it will not reach us until the end of October at the earliest, once all its episodes have been broadcast in the United States.
