The Blacklist Season 8 Release Date, Cast, Plot, Trailer and It is Time To Go Back To The Drawing Board?

A new season of a crime thriller is all set to bring chills down your spine. Yes, you heard it right. The Blacklist is ready to hit your nearest screens with season 8. Featured in 2013, The Blacklist stars James Spander, Raymond Reddington, Megan Boone, and Liz Keen. Currently, the series is in the midst of season 7, which resumes on March 20.

Release Date and Trailer:

Currently, there is no official release date but judging the shows previous releases, The Blacklist Season 8 is likely to release this September. However, we cannot ignore the fact that season 6 released in January 2019, so we might have to wait until January 2021. The current season is expected to end in May this summer.

The good news is, the entire main cast will return for the new series. Spader plays the show’s main protagonist, a wanted criminal. Raymond ‘Red’ Reddington and Boone star as FBI agents, with their daughter Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Keen.

Diego Klattenhoff will play the role of a special agent with the FBI, with the name Donald Ressler. Harry Lennix will also be back as Harold Cooper, Amir Arison as the cyber expert, Aram Mojtabi, Hisham Tawfiq as Red’s bodyguard Dembe Zuma.

Since season 7 has not been concluded yet, it is difficult to predict what’s up in store next. Chris Parnell, Co-President, Sony Pictures Television said: “The Blacklist continues to tell exciting and imaginative stories. It’s due to the brilliant cast, crew and our writing staff, led by Jon Bokenkamp and John Eisendrath, who commit to unparalleled creativity. Wait until you see what’s in store for season eight.” Season 7 is yet to complete this May, so let’s keep our fingers crossed and wait.
