Black summer is an out of the box zombie apocalypse series. This catastrophic web arrangement of zombies first hit Netflix in 2019. The creators’ John Hyams and Karl Schaefer are all geared up to provide fans with season 2. The first season had eight seasons, a big treat for all zombie lovers!
Release Date
Black Summer season 1 hit the screens of the streaming giant in April 2019. The shoot for season 2 began in April this year but was paused due to the ongoing pandemic. The shooting for season 2 has been postponed till the conditions improve. Hence, viewers can only expect this zombie international season 2 in 2021.
Cast
The cast for the sequel of Black Summer is estimated to be almost the same. Since the battle is still on, we might see the same characters continue their roles in season 2 as well. The story will begin from where it ended in season 1. Jaime King would secure his spot as the hero, accompanied by Justin Chu Cary, Christine Lee, Sal Velez Jr, and Kelsey Flower.
Plot
The key principle of this series is – endurance. The story beings with Rose being isolated from her little daughter while zombies are on their way to end the world. The battle has begun in season 1 and is expected to continue in the sequel. They may be exposed to many vulnerabilities and all characters are to be driven by sense. The story will have a lot of twists and turns, as what is always expected does not happen!

The trailer has not been released yet. Although, fans can always celebrate as the release of season 2 has been confirmed by the streaming giant. Shooting is being postponed until further notice. We can expect 8 episodes in season 2 as well. You can always watch season 1 and pray that pandemic ends faster.
