On November 10, E! held their People’s Choice Awards to honour the best in pop culture. Amidst the ceremony, Khloé Kardashian won the ‘Reality Star Of The Year’ award but had to apologise for her confusion later.
Khloé won the award individually which she didn’t know and confused it with ‘The Reality Show Of The Year’ award that she along with her sister Kim, Kourtney and mother Kris Jenner won. While Kim gave the acceptance speech while both Khloé and Kourtney stood at back smiling which sent the fans at frenzy about her not being ‘grateful’.
After clearing her confusion, the Revenge Body host realised and apologised on twitter and E! too gave an insight into the live show and award acceptance to ease the drama.
Twitter Calling out
People called Khloé out on twitter. One fan wrote- “Bitch we ain’t voting next year if you just gon stand up there and not say s–t ” to which Khloé replied-“It’s so beyond loud in there. I had no idea I won an individual award until we walked off stage,” she tweeted on Sunday night. “I feel so bad right now. I am so f–king grateful and appreciative! I can’t believe I didn’t say anything, but I didn’t hear that I won until after.” to show how bad she felt. Other one pointed out that she might be nervous to which she agreed and apologised.
In the E! live she said-
“Just so everyone knows, it’s so awkward, like, when you go on stage,” Khloé said. “I know Kim is a G and him kind of takes over and she will talk. Kourtney and I are in the back like … We never really know what to say, and we’re so grateful, we’re so thankful. I won an award as well, but we get nervous. I know people don’t think we do.”
Both Kim and Kourtney supported their sister for her win on their social media and thanking everyone.
