WHAT SCARLETT JOHANSSON DISCLOSED ABOUT HER UPCOMING NETFLIX SHOW’MARRIAGE STORY’ AFTER RELEASING OFFICIAL TEASER?

Relationships are beautiful, but at times these beautiful relationships bring in with the emotional baggage, the baggage of a heartbreak. Scarlett ‘s upcoming project is Noah Baumbach directed Netflix film ‘Marriage Story’. Johansson reveals that her ups and downs in her past relationships attracted her to this project.  The story of the film revolves around the love story of a married couple but through their divorce and how their son Henry is all caught up amidst all the complications and pain of split of his parents. Scarlett plays the role of Nicole in this film which was once a famous actress and is now going through the divorce phase with her theatre director husband played by Adam Driver.

JOHANSSON SHARES HER EXPERIENCE AS A SINGLE MOTHER-

She shares her five-year-old daughter Rose with Durian. Johansson openly admits how loneliness slowly starred creeping in her life as a single mother. She said,”  I felt in the past there’s such loneliness to being a single parent. It is a lot of many things at once, but there can be loneliness and this constant feeling of doubt, that you don’t know what the hell are you doing and you don’t have anyone else to bounce it off of. You’ve also been spending a lot of time alone with a child without the company of another adult which is hard for long periods. You may have doubts about your life.  How did I get here? It’s not all the time, but those moments creep in, and they creep in at weird times.”Johansson admits that being a single mother has triggered many moments of self-doubt and anxiety in her.

Scarlett ‘s upcoming projects, Marriage Story and Jojo Rabbit worked as some healing power to her, as she mourned the ending of her relationship with Durian. In Jojo Rabbit she plays mother to a Hitler Youth who hides a Jewish girl in their attic.

Talking about her sunshine in her gloomy life, her daughter, she says,” It doesn’t mean I didn’t have an emotional breakdown like either of these characters do. I still have them, but I credit also having my daughter there. When I look at her, I feel full of hope and positivity. It’s good to wallow for a little bit. And then you have to pull yourself up.”

Talking about ‘Marriage Story ‘ in Variety, she thinks that it was pure coincidence that the plot of the film also deals with the ending of a relationship, divorce.  ”  But more than that it is that it was about divorce and i was going through it and felt that it was something I should explore, I thought it was the right time for Noah and I to work together on something. “See the source image
