There is no denying the fact that from a kid to an adult, everyone is into superpowers stuff. The superhero genre isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and that’s for sure.
With its instant popularity in both viewers and critics, the second season got its green signal. But before we get the second dose of the seven and the Boys, here’s everything you need to know about the series’s upcoming season.
WHAT IS THERE IN SEASON 2 OF THE BOYS?
Leaving the ragtag group of anti-heroes on season 1 of The Boys opened a lot of gates for where the season 2 could go.
The first thing is the season-long vendetta of Billy Butcher against Homelander.
All started with Butcher realizing the fact that his wife is still alive and also, that she is raising her and Homelander’s 8-year old child.
Also, it will be interesting to know the future of Vought International with Vice President Madelyn Stillwell out of the picture in the second season.
It is quite sure that we will get to watch a wide variety of superheroes in the mix, with the addition of Stormfront to the cast.
WHAT IS THERE IN THE TRAILER?
According to the first teaser trailer released in December 2019 during Comic-Con, the second season of The Boys seems even bigger, bolder and bloodier than the first.
The trailer was taking from Homelander to his freckled face with blood, to who and what is about to come in the second season.
WHO WILL BE IN THE CAST OF THIS SEASON OF THE SERIES?
It is evident that The Boys, along with The Sevens, will return for this part of the series for sure.
Karl Urban will be starring as Billy Butcher, along with Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, and Karen Fukuhara as The Female, all of whom survived the first season.
Erin Moriarty, as Starlight will return, along with other members from The Seven. Antony Starr as Homelander, Chace Crawford as gross fish-man The Deep, Dominique McElligott as Queen Maeve and probably Jessie T Usher as A-Train.
