Twitter New Tool To View ‘Quote Retweets’

Twitter, one of the most popular social media platforms at present, is working on new tools for its viewers to get some unique features. They are going to show retweets with quotes separately on Twitter handles. Moreover, the social media platform will now offer the scheduling of tweets for both iOS and Android users.

With this, they can tweet anything and fix a date and time for it to publish. The tweet will be shown on the time desired by the account owner. Facebook, another most popular social media platform, already has this facility for its users. Currently, Twitter has this facility only for some of its users who use Twitter for desktop.

Talking about the ‘quote retweets’, it can be said that the viewers will now get to see retweets with quotes on every post they make. Earlier it was known as retweets with comments. However, the quote retweets will be under the “quotes” section among tweets. As the likes and comments are displayed, the quotes will also be visible. The Twitter authority recently announced that they are working to avail of this new feature.

A Twitter spokesperson told that retweets with comments were made more visible for Twitter users by the authority a few months ago. Taping to see retweets to a tweet, a user can see comments made on it more clearly. Now showing this quote with the retweet directly will make it clearer and easily accessible for Twitter account holders, the spokesperson said. It will help to interact with other Twitter users. A feature to offer self-edit of tweets when needed is also likely to be introduced by Twitter.

“This is available to everyone. Now, we’re examining making Retweets with Comments accessible straightly on the Tweet and novel language (Quotes) to see if this turns them easier to access and more understandable,” the spokesperson stated.
