About Mismatched
Mismatched is one of the best Netflix series by Akarsh Khurana and Nipun Dharmadhikhari. The Indian show is based on Sandhya Menon’s book called ‘When Dimple Met Rishi’. On 20 November 2020, Mismatched was released on Netflix with 6 episodes in total. Season 1 was a combination of romance and laughter and now many are interested in the upcoming sequel Mismatched Season 2.
Is Mismatched Season 2 Coming Out? Expected Release Date
Mismatched was one of the top-rated series on Netflix. The first season received a lot of appreciation from the audience. Netflix and show makers have not made any official announcements regarding second installments. On March 2021, the creator Confirmed Mismatched Season 2, however they didn’t confirm the release date of the next season. But we could expect Season 2 to return some time in early 2022.

Mismatched Storyline
This is the love story of Dimple and Rishi. As the title suggests these two are opposite personalities and a complete mismatch. Both are college students. Dimple is very fond of coding and technology while Rishi is stuck in the old 60s romance. But they started loving each other as the story progressed. She wants to be focused on her career while her family is looking for an ideal husband for her. These two developed an app with the help of their friends. They decide to develop an app that can prevent bullying as they were victims. By the end of the series, the codes were leaked. This resulted in an argument between the couple. The Mismatched contains both comedy and sadness.
Meet the Cast for Next SeasonÂ
Mismatched stars popular YouTuber Prajakta Koli as Dimple Ahuja. Rishi Singh’s character is played by Rohit Saraf. The cast of Mismatched also includes Rannvijay Singha who plays the role of a Professor named Siddharth in Aravalli Institute. Other characters are their friends and bullies. These are Celina Matthews (Muskkaan Jaferi), Simran Malhotra aka Kritika Bharadwaj, Taaruk Raina as Anmol Malhotra, and Namrata Bidasaria played by Devyani Shorey. Mismatched stars like Vidya Malavade as Zeenat Karim, Harsh Agarwal’s role by Vihaan Samat, Vaibhav Palhade as Samar, Suhasini Mulay portrayed Rishi’s Grandmother. Lastly, Warden’s role is done by Nidhi Singh.

How many episodes are there in mismatched Season 2?
As for the number of episodes in Mismatched Season 2, we cannot confirm that as that information hasn’t been confirmed yet. But judging from the number of episode in season 1 we could safely predict that Season 2 will also have 6 episodes.
