On September 4 local time, the 74th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. During the award ceremony, “Squid Game” and the actress Lee Yoo Mi they won prizes setting new records.
Lee Yoo Mi became the first Korean actress to win the award for Best Guest Actress in a Drama Series. She faced Hope Davis (“Succession”), Marcia Gay Harden (“The Morning Show”), Martha Kelly (“Euphoria”), Sanaa Lathan (“Succession”) and Harriet Walter (“Succession”). Added to that, “Squid Game” won these awards: Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Single Episode, Outstanding Stunt Performance, and Outstanding Production Design for a Contemporary Narrative Program (One Hour or Longer).
