The Peaky Blinders Season 5 has left the audience with a lot of questions regarding the consecutive seasons and about the next storyline of the show. However, Knight had already confirmed that the script work for the next season was over and would be released by 2020.
Official Release Date
In December 2019 he had confirmed the finishing of the script and the start of filming by the following year to BBC. It means Peaky Blinders Season 6 could be telecasted on Tv in late 2020 or by the beginning of 2021. Since the man is working on New Apple TV+ Drama See and on the adoption of Christmas Carol for BBC in 2019 the release date may be delayed a bit accordingly.
Cast For The New Season
There has not been any official confirmation about the crew but it is more likely for the same stars to play the same roles and some characters might return in the new season. Main characters like the Shelby’s would mostly be played by the same cast since the story would not be completed without their presence. Helen McCrory and Tommy’s second wife Lizzie Shelby would make an appearance for sure.
Oswald Mosley (Sam Clafin) might mostly return in this series as a Fascist politician with a change in his relationship with Tommy. Since the story was left in the open-end there is more to expect from the new series. It would not be surprising if any other big star joins the crew for the new season.
What We Expect
Tommy Shelby’s next move is one of the most prominent questions that season 5 has left us with. Will he stand against the Fascist leader or is this his downfall? Will Finn Shelby take responsibility for the leakage of details regarding the assassination of Oswald Mosley?
There is high hope among the fans that Steven Knight would take things up the way they wanted and also there would be the seventh season in the series. That too may not be the last series of Peaky Blinders.
